There’s this saying in College Sports that people “bleed” their school colours. It’s a cute expression, and in my case, it’s actually true. I do bleed purple and gold (Go Dawgs!).

Exhibit A:

Can’t get much more purple and gold than that!
Even my non-injured eye is having sympathy bruising

And while the focus of my pain has been in my face, I also got a pretty nasty scrape on my shin, which has incidentally turned green.

I also have a nasty bruise on my shoulder, which is hard to see but I’m posting it anyway because it hurts dammit!

Bruised Shoulder (ego bruise is invisible)

To add insult to injury, they had to give me a Tetanus shot. Could they do it in the arm that was already injured? Of COURSE not. It had to go in the other arm! So that left a bruise too, and I’m ANGRY about it!

Tetanus Circle of Anger

Before I show you all the gross red eyeball shot (which is why you’re reading, admit it) I’d just like to thank everyone who so thoughtfully stopped by, brought me flowers, sent me ‘get well soon’ texts, and offered to go on grocery runs for me. I couldn’t have made it through without all of my amazing friends – my “Family”. I really have the best people in my life. Thank you.

My fave!  Purple Lillies that match my eye!

Without further ado, what you’ve all been reading for – the Devil Eye!:

Gross?  Or Awesome?

p.s. Who wants to come over and fix Luna for me? BTW she’s getting renamed I think….apparently “luna” is short for “lunatic”.  That explains a lot actually….
