I’m a communications professional and outdoor lover with a passion for the outdoors, storytelling, NY pizza, and hyperbole. This website started as a blog in 2005 to share travel adventures. Over time, it evolved into an educational, hopefully-entertaining, and occasionally irreverent home for my (mostly outdoor recreation-related) stories and soapboxes.
